Ingredients
- 1 pack Naked Tofoo
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red onion
- 1 red chilli
- 150g mangetout
- Rice for 2
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
For the Marinade
- 50ml dark soy sauce
- 80ml water
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 20g fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and grated
- 1 tbsp cornflour
Get started
- Put all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and stir.
- Cut the Tofoo into cubes and add to the marinade. Leave to marinate for 5-10 mins
- Start to cook your rice.
- Heat a frying pan and add the oil.
- Finely slice the onion and chilli then add to the oil and fry until softened.
- Add the Tofoo and marinade to the pan and stir fry, mixing well. Cook for 5 mins until the Tofoo is warmed through and the sauce is thickened.
- Add the mangetout, stir and cook for a couple of minutes so that the mangetout is still crunchy.
- Serve with the rice and a sprinkling of sesame seeds.
