Ingredients
For the Tofoo Tempura
- 1 pack Teriyaki Tofoo
- 100g cornflour
- 50g plain flour
- 120ml cold sparkling water
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
For the wrap filling
- 2 large tortilla wraps
- 3 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp sriracha or chilli sauce
- 1 avocado
- 1 roasted red pepper
- 1 sheet nori
Get started
- Take a large, deep pan and fill 1/3 with the oil and heat.
- Mix the flours and sparkling water together with a pinch of salt.
- Cut the Tofoo into fingers then dip into the batter and carefully place into the hot oil
- Deep fry on all sides until the batter is light and crispy then place on a piece of kitchen paper to drain.
- Mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha to make your chilli mayo.
- Slice the avocado and cucumber into strips and shred the nori.
- Warm the wraps then add your Tempura Tofoo, avocado, cucumber.
- Drizzle with the chilli mayo, wrap and enjoy.
