Ingredients
- 1 pack Teriyaki Tofoo, cut into cubes
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red chilli (sliced)
- 150g mangetout
- Rice for 2
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
For the marinade
- 50ml dark soy sauce
- 80ml water
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 20g fresh ginger (peeled and grated)
- 2 cloves garlic (peeled and grated)
- 1 tbsp cornflour
Get started
- Stir together all marinade ingredients.
- Add the Tofoo and marinate for 5-10 mins.
- Start to cook your rice.
- Heat a frying pan and add the oil.
- Add the chilli and fry until softened.
- Add the Tofoo and marinade to the pan and stir fry, mixing well. Cook for 5 mins until the Tofoo is warmed through and the sauce is thickened.
- Add the mangetout, stir and cook for a few minutes so it is still crunchy.
- Serve with rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
