Ingredients
- 1 pack Teriyaki Tofoo
- 6 large spring onions
- 1 red pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce plus extra for dipping
- 6 bamboo skewers
Get started
- Cut the Tofoo into cubes – around 3 pieces per skewer.
- Cut the pepper into cubes – around 2 pieces per skewer.
- Remove the green part of the spring onions (slice and reserve for sprinkling later) then cut the spring onion in half lengthways
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until golden.
- Place pieces of the Tofoo, pepper, and spring onion onto the skewers and brush with the teriyaki sauce.
- Place the skewers on a tray and place under a high grill turning every now and then so that all sides are caramelised.
- Once cooked, sprinkle the skewers with the toasted sesame seeds and the reserved spring onion and serve with some teriyaki sauce for dipping.
