Buffalo Crispy Tofoo

Get this stuff
  1. 1 pack Smoked Tofoo
  2. 5 tbsp Franks hot sauce
  3. Plain seasoned flour for dusting
  4. 2 sticks of celery washed and cut into strips
  5. Sunflower oil for deep frying
For the Blue Cheese Dip
  1. Blue cheese dip
  2. 100g blue cheese (or vegan alternative)
  3. 100g creme fraiche (or vegan alternative)
  4. 50g mayonnaise
  5. 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  6. 1 dash Worcestershire sauce (or vegan alternative)
Do this stuff

1. Cut your Tofoo into four across the shortest edge, now cut those three into triangles dry and dust in the seasoned flour.
2. In a food processor or in a large pestle and mortar blend the blue cheese dip ingredients and season to taste and fill into two ramekins.
3. Fill a tall saucepan 1/3 full of oil and heat to 170 degrees, turn the heat to low and carefully lower the Tofoo into the oil with a slotted serving spoon, deep fry until golden. Remove from the oil and put onto several sheets of kitchen roll to absorb some oil.
4. Take a mixing bowl and add the fried Tofoo wings and the Franks hot sauce and plate up onto two plates with the celery sticks and blue cheese dip.
