Teriyaki Tofoo Tori Skewers

Ingredients

  1. 1 pack Teriyaki Tofoo
  2. 6 large spring onions
  3. 1 red pepper
  4. 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  5. 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce plus extra for dipping
  6. 6 bamboo skewers

Get started

  1. Cut the Tofoo into cubes – around 3 pieces per skewer.
  2. Cut the pepper into cubes – around 2 pieces per skewer.
  3. Remove the green part of the spring onions (slice and reserve for sprinkling later) then cut the spring onion in half lengthways
  4. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until golden.
  5. Place pieces of the Tofoo, pepper, and spring onion onto the skewers and brush with the teriyaki sauce.
  6. Place the skewers on a tray and place under a high grill turning every now and then so that all sides are caramelised.
  7. Once cooked, sprinkle the skewers with the toasted sesame seeds and the reserved spring onion and serve with some teriyaki sauce for dipping.
