Crispy Tempeh Kecup Manis Stir Fry

Get this stuff
  1. 1 pack The Tofoo Co Tempeh
  2. Vegetable oil
  3. 2 shallots
  4. 1inch piece ginger
  5. 2 cloves garlic
  6. 3 tbsp kecup manis
  7. 1 tsp lemongrass paste
  8. 1 red pepper
  9. 6 spring onions
To Serve
  1. Brown basmati rice
Do this stuff
  1. Heat a deep frying pan and fill 1.5 inch deep with vegetable oil.
  2. Cut the Tempeh into strips and when the oil is hot, shallow fry until golden and crispy.
  3. Place a wok or frying pan on the heat and add 2 tbsp vegetable oil.
  4. Finely chop the shallots, ginger and garlic and add to the pan.
  5. Stir fry until softened then add the fried Tempeh, kecup manis and lemongrass paste.
  6. Slice the peppers and shred the spring onions then add to the pan and stir fry everything until the veggies are softened.
  7. Serve with brown basmati rice.
