Tempeh Thai Basil Stir Fry

Get this stuff

1 pack Tempeh, cut into cubes

Handful fresh basil leaves

(chopped)

1 tbsp dark soy sauce

2 cloves garlic (chopped)

1 piece fresh ginger (chopped)

1 red pepper (sliced)

150g green beans

1 lime

Vegetable oil

To serve

Steamed jasmine rice

Do this stuff
  1. Heat a deep frying pan and fill 1 inch deep with oil.
  2. When hot, add the Tempeh and fry until crispy and golden.
  3. Drain the Tempeh on a bit of kitchen towel. Discard most of the oil from the pan. Return the pan to the heat.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger. Fry until golden.
  5. Add the peppers and green beans. Stir fry until softened but crunchy. Add the soy sauce and juice of 1/2 lime.
  6. Add the Tempeh and basil and mix.
  7. Serve with jasmine rice and wedges of lime.
