TLT Sandwich

Get this stuff
  1. 1 pack of Smoked Tofoo, cut into 5mm slices
  2. 1 small head of lettuce, washed & dried
  3. 3 large red tomatoes, sliced
  4. 6 slices of wholemeal bread
  5. Mayonnaise for spreading
For the Marinade
  1. 200ml soy sauce
  2. 2 tbsp brown sauce
  3. 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  4. 1 tsp organic white miso
  5. 2 tbsp maple syrup
  6. 1 dash of dashi
Do this stuff
  1. Whisk all your marinade ingredients together and add your Smoked Tofoo slices to it, leave for 1hr minimum.
  2. Preheat your oven to 190°c and on a lined baking tray layout your marinated Tofoo slices and brush with the marinade.
  3. Bake the Tofoo for 20-25 mins turning once and brushing with the marinade once turned, the Tofoo bacon is ready when slightly crispy around the edges.
  4. Now spread one piece of bread with mayo and layer with some lettuce, sliced tomato and Tofoo bacon then layer again with bread, mayo, lettuce, tomato and Tofoo bacon, spread the final slice with mayo and squish on top of your TLT club.
