Tempeh Sweet Chilli Pizza

Ingredients

  1. 1 pack The Tofoo Co Tempeh
  2. 150g baby spinach
  3. 2 cloves garlic
  4. 1 red onion
  5. 2 tbsp olive oil
  6. 100g sweet chilli sauce
  7. 2 whole roasted peppers from a jar
  8. 2 ready made pizza bases
  9. 100g vegan cream cheese
  10. 80g vegan mozzarella

Get started

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/200°C fan.
  2. Heat a frying pan and add the spinach. Cook until wilted then put to one side.
  3. Finely dice the onion and garlic. Add the olive oil, onion and garlic to the frying pan.
  4. Fry until caramelised. Crumble your Tempeh and add to the pan. Fry until golden then add half the sweet chilli sauce. Mix and fry until slightly caramelised.
  5. Cut the roasted peppers into strips.
  6. Put the pizza bases onto baking trays and cover with the sweet chilli tempeh.
  7. Add the wilted spinach and roasted pepper strips.
  8. Dot the vegan cream cheese around the pizzas then sprinkle with the mozzarella.
  9. Drizzle with the remaining sweet chilli sauce and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden.
