1/2 a pineapple

2 tbsp ketchup

2 tbsp white wine vinegar

2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

400g rice

1 yellow pepper

1 red pepper

1 onion

2 spring onions

6 tbsp cornflour

Sweet and Sour Tofoo

1 pack Naked Tofoo

1/2 a pineapple

2 tbsp ketchup

2 tbsp white wine vinegar

2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce

400g rice

1 yellow pepper

1 red pepper

1 onion

2 spring onions

6 tbsp cornflour

Vegetable oil

Method

Underline

1. Chop the Tofoo into cubes and add the cornflour to a bowl. Dip each cube in cornflour, be sure to cover the cubes fully.

2. Add an inch of vegetable oil to a wok. Add the Tofoo and fry until golden brown.

3. Cook rice according to package instructions.

4. Chop the peppers and onions into chunks and add to a new wok with a drizzle of vegetable oil. Cook on a high heat.

5. Chop up the pineapple and add to the wok and stir. Next add the ketchup along with the white wine vinegar and sweet chilli sauce. Add the Tofoo in and mix together.

6. Slice up the spring onions for garnish. Serve the Tofoo on a bed of rice and tuck into this delicious dish.
