Ingredients
- 1 pack The Tofoo Co Tempeh
- Vegetable oil
- 2 shallots
- 1inch piece ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp kecup manis
- 1 tsp lemongrass paste
- 1 red pepper
- 6 spring onions
To Serve
- Brown basmati rice
Get started
- Heat a deep frying pan and fill 1.5 inch deep with vegetable oil.
- Cut the Tempeh into strips and when the oil is hot, shallow fry until golden and crispy.
- Place a wok or frying pan on the heat and add 2 tbsp vegetable oil.
- Finely chop the shallots, ginger and garlic and add to the pan.
- Stir fry until softened then add the fried Tempeh, kecup manis and lemongrass paste.
- Slice the peppers and shred the spring onions then add to the pan and stir fry everything until the veggies are softened.
- Serve with brown basmati rice.
